Solar hydrogen technology makes the use of solar energy possible at any time
– anywhere. Solar or Wind energy provides the energy to split water into
hydrogen and oxygen via Electrolysis. This hydrogen is temporarily stored, can
be transported and used for generating power via Fuel Cells whenever it is needed. The final product will be water.
Today, hydrogen is produced mostly through extraction from fossil fuels like gas. This is not considered as clean, environmentally friendly or renewable. In SPS
we are working towards photovoltaic systems, which produce the hydrogen in an never-ending circle.
